So it's the end of the week and here are a few random things to report-
Liam is loving school. I think he has the best teacher for him. One of the other teacher reminds me of a woman that should be on "the real housewives of New Jersey," and drives slightly me insane. I am sooo glad he didn't get her. His teacher, Mrs. Peterson, is awesome. She's outgoing and happy and makes Liam feel very loved and comfortable.
Emma is a whole new experience for me. I always thought that having a girl would be much easier than a boy...I was wrong. She is happy, but she definitely is a drama queen and tries to get out of everything with her "I'm so cute" look. It drives me crazy, but I'm pretty sure I know were she learned it from (me!) :). She is pretty hilarious though. The other day I was laughing at something silly she said and, shaking my head, I jokingly asked her "Emma, where did we get you from?" Without missing a beat she replied, "from Jesus." I laughed harder. Pretty smart kid hu?
Fox is moving every where. Most of the time our garbage can is on top of the counter, because if I leave it down on the ground, where it belongs, Fox thinks it has to be tipped over. He is a pro at walking along furniture, climbing onto the bottom shelf of our shelves and the bottom stair (he's only done one so far...I wonder how long that'll last :)). He adores his brother and sister and they make him laugh constantly. He drives Tony crazy by his consistant rocking in his highchair (Tony thinks he's going to get brain damage), and then smiles and laughs at Tony (its pretty hilarious).
I have started to meet and do things with new people and feel like a little school girl who wants to run home and tell her mom/Tony about all the new friends I've made. I'm not going to lie, I was pretty nervous about making new friends. I have had the same friends for...well, forever, and wasn't sure I knew how to be personable any more :) (okay, really I did, but it's scary!)
Tony is enjoying his work. I love that when he comes home and I ask him how work was he says "it was pretty good" instead of "eh" or "crappy" like most his other jobs have been :) He is excited to go to Washington DC tomorrow for the 8/28 Restoring Honor rally. We found a flight for a steal of a deal, so he flies to DC tomorrow morning and flies back tomorrow night.
On a completely random side note-
Liam gets picked up from school with a friend of mine and a caravan of kids who live in our apartment complex. The first day he did this she dropped him off out back of our apartment and said, "Okay Liam see you later" He walked a few steps, then turned and said, "Actually, I don't know which one is mine." :D The back of our apartments all look exactly the same, white siding and a brown fence. Poor kid. So I'm thinking about getting a pink flamingo to put on our back porch so he knows which house is ours. :) I found this really cute pink flamingo and now I can't stop thinking about it. I almost bought it but then thought, 'It's almost fall and pink flamingos are more a summer thing.' But now I'm thinking I could totally make it work. If I made a witch's hat and santa hat for it to wear for different holidays it could stay out all year round, right? :D
