Ah, Emma

I told Emma that we got to go do something fun tonight and here is how the conversation went:

Me:"So what do you want to do that's fun tonight?"

Emma: "Go with you"

Me: "Yeah, but where do you want to go with me?"

Emma: "To the store."

Me: "Yeah?"

Emma shakes her head yes.

Me: "And what are you going to do at the store?"

Emma: "Not touch anything"

...at least I know some of what I teach my kids is getting through.... :D

When she becomes a Mom and saving the world

Sometimes I fear (just a little bit) about when Emma becomes a mom. If the way she treats her baby doll shows any way how she will be when she becomes a Mom her children are in big trouble. ;)
Today she would throw her baby in the air saying, "WEEEEE!!" and then let it drop. Then, when she wasn't thinking she would bang her baby by one arm into the table over and over again. When I said, "What are you doing to you baby?" She replied, "I love my baby." And hugged it real quick. Trying to be nice to her baby she wrapped it in it's baby blanket but when she bent down to get something her baby fell out on its head.
It's so fun to watch her Mommy a baby.

And she's dang cute while doing it.

*On a side note, look at Emma's cool hair I did today...I was very proud of it and that Emma sat still while I was doing it. :)

Now on to more manly things. Liam decided he was a transformer today and that he would with the help of his might transformers, save the world. Here are his most manly/saving the world pictures.

And this post wouldn't be complete without a couple of pictures from my main 4 and 1/2 month old man. :)

He did it!!

After months of agonizing work and training by his mom ;) , Fox finally rolled over by himself!! He rolled from his front to his back and then giggled after he did so. He hasn't rolled over again since but I am sure this is the start of a beautiful relationship with rolling over. :) [Date of first roll over February 22, 2010]

Chickens?....Really?

Last night Emma woke up screaming and crying, so Tony ran up to see what was the matter. And this is what I hear.

Tony: "Emma, what's the matter?"
Emma: (hysterically) "There's a chicken in my bed!!"

Chickens?...Really?
She did the same thing to me one night in California. Now we know what Emma fears most. Chickens. My dad has chickens and before they built their new house he use to have a rooster that would chase the kids and try to peck or talon them. I don't know if she can still remember that or what.
It was funny the first time, but I thought it would be like Liam's talking Camel (Liam once woke up scared to death because a Camel had talked to him in his dream...that was cute though because I prayed with him and after I heard him tell his stuffed dog "don't worry, that camel won't talk to us anymore") and only happen once but the second time it wasn't so funny and if it happens again and she can't sleep again I may have to beat someone. :)

Time to go

My parents are going on a cruise tomorrow. In preparation for their cruise my Mom printed out a map and agenda of where they were going to be each day. As I was looking at it Liam asked to see it so I showed it to him and explained, "this is where they are going." He asked "Where we are going?" I responded, no, and then explained that Grandma and Grandpa were going on a trip for a couple of days. Liam thought for a moment then very concerned asked me, "Well, who's going to cook?" (I do help cook around here, I promise!! But he must not realize that) I said, "No, Liam, I'm going to cook. Don't you remember in our other house that I always cooked?" He then looked confused and answered, "Our Dad helped us."
It seems it's time to go and move into our own house/apartment once again, so that my son can realize that I do cook. :)

Valentines and a Rocking Presidents Day

This Valentines Day seemed like three days of Valentines. Liam celebrated Valentines at his school on Friday, so we all had to celebrate Valentines Day on Friday. Then on Sunday (the day Valentines was actually on) we made these sweet little babies.

Liam wrote the names on them (what a smart kid) and then we headed out to deliver.

Here's Emma ready to go. We got out a little bit late so, yes, Emma and Liam are both in their PJ's.

Getting ready to run.

Ringing the door bell.
We only made two stops. One to Brad and Ashley's house, and one to Grandma Clark's house (where we currently live :) ) But the kids loved it! At Brad's house Me and Liam and Emma dropped off the Valentines, rang the bell, and ran. But by the time I got Liam and Emma both back into the car, and headed around to let me in Brad had caught us. We tried to make a speedy get away so they wouldn't know who it was, but when I opened my door to get in and the car light came on, I looked in the back and there was Liam waving at Brad with his biggest smile. (We need to teach the kid a thing or two about Valentines.) Tony did make a grand exit though, by squealing the wheels as we raced away.

Liam didn't have school on Presidents day (the next day), so he decided to celebrate by dressing up as a rock star (he dressed himself) and playing his lightsaber guitar, which turns into a handy gun or bandage dispenser. He walked around the house taking requested for playing slow, fast, Christmas, or scary music. Pretty awesome.

Emma got in on the act by playing her fancy book guitar. (They are saying/playing, "bown, bitta, bown, bown, bown, bown)

Rock Stars!!

California

A couple of weeks ago we took a trip to California with all of my family (Mom and Dad, Brother's and Sisters). It was a blast!! Here are some pictures from that trip. The one above is of the fog that I got to drive in on the way to California in the dark. It was scary!

Here is Liam and Emma in the car. Yes it was a tight squeeze, but we made it happily as you can tell by their happy faces.
Here's Liam and Dad pretending to be asleep. They asked me to take a picture of them while they were "sleeping." ??? Your guess is as good as mine. (Yes, I know this picture is side ways. My camera/computer is being retarded, so just turn your head to look at it and half the other ones on here.)
Here's me and Emma with the Mexican jello. Not the best picture of me, but I had to get in the Mexican jello.
Liam and Emma playing in the sand at the beach.
I'm horrible at remembering to take pictures so although we went to Disneyland three times I only have a few pictures. Here's Mom and Dad and Liam and Emma at the front gates of Disneyland.
Here's Fox at the front gates. Looking happy to be there. :)
Sierra at Disneyland. I took a few pictures of her and all the pictures I took she had her eyes closed. I think she's related to Earl from My Name is Earl.
This is Liam a the aquarium we went to in Long Beach, extra cool. Notice the giant crabs behind him, and the fish with the creepy eyes. :)
Tony and Emma at the aquarium. This is the day that we picked up Tony. Me and the kids drove down on Saturday and then Tony flew in on Wednesday and drove home with us on Sunday. (Turn you head again :) )
Sierra and Mallory. (and again)

They had a real cool bird feeding place at the aquarium. Here's Magnum and Ashley with a bird on her shoulder. (and again)The cool birds.

Liam had water on his shirt from petting the sting rays and one bird would not stop sucking the water out of it. I had to finally push the bird off his arm.
Emma, Tony and the bird.
Tony making lovely faces at the bird. (once again)
(
The bird still sucking on Liam's shirt.
Tony being a bird perch.

Dad
Grammy not looking to happy that a bird is on her, and Fox.
