 Merry Christmas from the Bundy's!! And the Hulk. 

By the way, I have four kids now. That's still kind of crazy to me sometimes.

Gingerbread houses 2013

Gingerbread houses this year where kind of crazy. We made them on Saturday and during the day we went to Des Moine to check out "Santa's Workshop" at Bass Pro Shop (which was crazy). By the time we made it home and ate dinner it was pretty late. But we promised the kids we would make gingerbread houses and they weren't having it any other way. Tony took off to go to the store because we had friends coming over for dinner the next night and didn't have all of the stuff we needed so I got Ander happy (kind of) and then went to work making the  frosting. By the time we were ready to decorate it was after 8. So we didn't finish until after 10, but the kids had a great time. Ander had a great time for about 20 minutes then he had a time like the last picture ;), but it was still fun.

My something beautiful

Emma was asked to write a story about her "something beautiful." This is what she came home with:

"My something beautiful is my baby brother. Because he is sweet. I love him and he loves me. He makes me feel sweet too. He is beautiful because he shines. His name is Ander. I care for him. I be really careful when I hold him. I give him baby leaves."

I read the last part as baby loves when I read it out loud to her and she said, "no. Its I give him baby leaves, remember?" It's true. One day when she came home from school she walked in and gave Ander a tiny leaf. It's things like this that make being a mom all worth while.

Ander's First Two Months in Pictures

So if you knew how many pictures of Ander I had you would cry. Really. You would. And it was super difficult to pick and choose which ones to put on here. But I did. And I tried to put them in chronological order, Starting with the first picture I have after he was born. But blogspot hates me, and I'm lazy, so the pictures of the kids holding Ander at the hospital are at the bottom. Sorry. Heres some notable pictures in this post. Ander- who is adorable. The picture of him in his carseat was when we left the hospital. He's so little!! My Mom and Sierra came and stayed for a week, and I'm horrible and only took like two pictures (And now that I think about it, I didn't get any pictures of Yvonne holding Ander. Geez!). We had a lot of fun, and did what we could with a two week old, which was a lot of hang out at home and holding the baby. Anders first smile that was captured on film. I think this kid was smiling when he came out of the womb, it was taken in the hospital. Anders siblings adore him.

Ander has been...well, a hard kid. He cries a lot. He and I have had thrush, hopefully thats over now. When my mom and Sierra came I don't think he stopped crying. But he is so very, very sweet and happy when other things aren't bothering him, and hopefully he'll grow out of this crying stuff. He already is starting to. My Mom always tells me "just make it through the first three month." So we are almost there. We love him and are so happy he is here.

Halloween and Pumpkin Carving

Isn't it fantastic that I am posting about Halloween on Christmas? Hahaha. Well I am. 

Halloween was weird this year. A few days before I went into labor we carved pumpkins (and by "we" I mean Tony, the kids, and Yvonne. I supervised from the nice, soft, rocking chair). Emma had a bat mouth pumpkin. Fox's pumpkin has candy corn eyeballs. And Liam drew his own face. It's pretty creepy. 

 Halloween day I had a few-day-old baby, so I stayed home while Tony and Yvonne took the kids to trunk-or-treat and while Yvonne took the kids to hit just a few neighbor house. I don't even have pictures of their costumes. Mostly because I'm a bad Mom and because I didn't buy them any new costumes this year. They went down into our dress up box and made up their own. Fox was Nacho Libre mixed with Spiderman (the Nacho Libre mask and Spiderman suit). Liam was a old western cowboy (he had a gun, cowboy hat, and long coat made out of a Harry Potter cloak), and Emma was a fairy princess (a dress with wings. I did do her makeup though, so I get some of those "bad mom" points back). But you know what? They got candy and they loved it. It was mostly just weird for me. Next year I'll have a barely one year old and we will be rocking the Halloween scene.

Fox's preschool field trip

So I was given a gift certificate for Christmas and I've decided to use it to get some of my blog printed...About a third of it printed, because my blog is huge! But I've been working on editing the first 1/3 of my blog and it gives me a headache so instead I've decided to post some of my long neglected posts! Yippie!! 

So lets back up to fall time now. See the tree? It's fall. October 25th to be exact. One day before Ander was due (Of course he wouldn't come for three more days but whatever). Grandma Bundy is hanging out with us and Fox has a field trip to Center Grove Orchard!! So we hope in the car and head that way! It was a blast! They had farm animals, apple picking, a hay ride, tractor riding, a giant corn box (that's like a sand box except with corn), a giant slide, bounce pillow, maze, (last 3 not pictured) and cute little set ups like the three little pigs house! Fox had a great time! And Mom and Grandma had a pretty good time too.
