A Few Random Thoughts

-I love the Disney channel show Phineas and Ferb so much that I may name my next child Phineas. The darn show makes me laugh so hard.
-I avoid driving in all instances, especially on the freeway. I have been like this through all of my driving career. This Saturday I am driving to California with three children, and then come March I will be driving to Iowa...YIKES!!
-Liam honestly thought Emma broke her leg today when she fell off a slide. He was full out crying and kept saying, "Emma can't stand up, she broke her leg!!" Who knew that kid had so much empathy?
-Emma is finally a potty pooper...yes you read correctly, not a party pooper, but a potty pooper. She would not go poop in the potty for a long time and finally she saw Liam going in the potty and decided that she could do that too. So for the last three days she has been a potty pooper.
-I think Fox is too chunky to be able to roll over. I don't think I could lift that type of weight if I were him. :D He still hasn't rolled over. I have a secret competition with Lisa's baby William. William has already rolled over...Come on Fox!! :) (and good job Little Will :) )
-I have never been to a chiropractor and my husband is going to school to be one...I think they are good. :)
-I miss trying to beat Tommy home from taking Liam to school everyday. For the record I won the most.
-I'm so excited to go to Disneyland this next week and see my kids faces. I don't care if I don't get to go on a single ride, I'm just excited to see them get the feeling that I always got when I went to Disneyland. It's the happiest place on earth you know ;) YAHOO!!

Davenport- a new Adventure

Here it is! Wonderful Davenport Iowa (I'm trying to be optimistic :) ) where we will be moving mid-March. And Yes, that is the Mississippi River. Davenport has a gigantic bridge going over it linking the city to the other "quad cities" (Bettendorf, Moline, West Moline, Davenport, and Rock Island...yes there are 5 cities in the "quad cities") I have had a difficult time preparing myself mentally for the move, but I think I'm getting closer to being prepared...I don't know that I will ever be fully prepared, but I'm getting closer.

It is about 1,260 miles between PG and Davenport, about 18-19 hours. But we are going to do it so Tony can go here
The first chiropractic school in the world in Davenport, Iowa
Palmer Chiropractic, and become and chiropractor. I'm so excited that Tony is going to school, not so excited that its half way across the country :) . The cool part is that the Nauvoo temple
will be the temple that we attend and we will be close to all the other historic church sites. Also we will be right by the John Deere tractor factory!! So Sierra will be excited.
It'll be a new adventure and we are excited, so if you are planning a trip back that way look us up and come visit!!

Giggling Fox

Fox -3 and a half months
A few weeks after Fox was born he would laugh or giggle when you played patty cake with him. Now he has progressed to this. Unfortunately I couldn't find Tony's phone fast enough to record it when Fox was really giggling hard (Tony had him really going) this is the tail end of it when Fox had just about had enough, but it's still so silly. :)

Sorry if the video isn't working!! If it doesn't just go to my facebook page. It works there. I can't seem to get it to work on here. :/

To Boot or not to Boot

I recieved a notice last week in Liam's "Wednesday folder" that said all of the children in his preschool class were being retested and that if they scored to high they would be "exited" out of the class to allow children who didn't score so high into the class. (Yes, they boot the smart ones to make way for the dumb ones.) I started having a little bit of a panic attack. I like my three hours everyday with only two kids. It's when I can go shopping and not feel like one of those crazy moms dragging around twenty kicking and screaming kids, and when I can give Emma extra attention. Plus, now that Liam goes to school he gets extra bored and crazy on his days off, like he's not quite sure what to do with himself. So for the past week I have dreaded today when I would get new if Liam was too smart to continue or too dumb and had to stay in. Either way I knew I wasn't going to like the news. I went and picked Liam up from school, grabbed his "Wednesday folder," and pulled out the green paper with the verdict on it. It said congratulations! Liam had learned all the curriculum that Pre-K requires. But that Liam could stay in the class, if it was my wish, because the class was not all the way full!! Yahoo!! Best of both worlds. I quickly X'd the "Yes, I would like my child to continue in this class" box, and shoved it back in his bag to take to school tomorrow. Liam is going to have enough change when we move to Iowa in a few months, thank goodness he got to stay in his class with all of his friends!! Yahoo!! :)

Birthday Bash and my Favorite Things

Last Monday was my birthday, and man, oh, man was it awesome!! First my good friend Jen Fugal had her baby boy on my birthday and really what better gift can you get? :) Thanks Jen!! Then, that night I got to go on a date with my cute husband. We went to Red Lobster with gift cards that my dad gave me (thanks dad!). I had delicious wood grilled shrimp and scallops, which is my new favorite way to eat anything. Wood grilled just makes everything taste better!! When I build a house I'm putting a wood grill in my kitchen :) Then Tony took me shopping!! And he tried really hard not to act bored or embarrassed, even when I took him into motherhood to try on new bras. It was awesome!! I got a new nursing bra, and my new favorite nursing pads called lilypadz. They are awesome. Then we got new Egyptian cotton, 700 thread count sheets for a steal of a deal!! The next day my family came over for a birthday bash. Where I was given more of my new favorite things!! I got a cookies'n'cream candy bar (which was gone within the hour, thanks Summerhays family!!) and this cute card, stinkin' cute!! Then my brother Brad gave me a new book called the Hunger Games, my new favorite (I finished reading it yesterday...the day after I got it...it was REALLY good). My Grammy gave me macadamia nut, caramel filled, chocolate covered clusters, YUM! How can those not be your favorite!! And then my mom (I love my mom) gave me a cricut!! Yippie!! It was possibly the best birthday ever!! Yahooty-whooty!! (That's how good it was) :) Thanks everybody for the best birthday ever!!

Merry Christmas!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hello to all our friends and family!! We are a little behind this year, and frankly a little bit cheap, so instead of mailing out Christmas cards we are sending a mass blog to all of you. :) But at least this way you can see many pictures instead of just one.
We are doing well. Tony and Liam both started school this year (Tony returned to college and Liam started preschool). Liam
loves it, he has learned all of his letters and can write most of them when asked to. Tony is surviving, and is excited to finish his generals and start on his classes that will help him become a chiropractor. Emma has started talking more this year and now we can't get her to stop. :) She is our "Luna Lovegood" and is mostly happy and in her own world, we love it. Jonathan Fox was born on October 5th of this year and came happy and giggly from the start. He smiles and talks to everyone and seems much older than he really is. I am trying to adjust to three kids and to get us ready for spring, when our family will be moving to Davenport, Iowa, so Tony can finish his schooling at Palmer Chiropractic. It has been a crazy year but also a year so full of blessings!! We love you all and hope that your year has also been good, and wish you all the best for next year.

An explanation of the pictures:
Fox got to play the part of baby Jesus in several live nativities this year and a wise friend told us to take pictures of our kids in their own live nativity. She had a picture taken of her kids in a live nativity a few years back and said that is had become one of her most precious pictures. I can see now that these pictures will become some of mine. So Merry Christmas everyone!! May the spirit of Christ be with you during this new year.

Emma (2) Liam (4) Fox (2 months)
