The Hogel Zoo

It was awesome

but mostly it was hot

In the 100 degrees

I think we were all melted by the time it was done

But it was fun

(people who went with us-Mom, Dad, Brad, Ash and kids, Sierra, Sophie, Penny, Kira and kids)

When we got to the monkey face things we told everyone to look like a monkey. I think Mom wins, although Brad and Sierra come in close second. I love these next couple of pictures :)

They also, randomly, had a place to play with giant lego blocks. I think its because they are trying to make up for the fact that they still charge you an arm and a leg, but have half off the zoo closed off for a new exhibit. ;)

Strawberry Days 2013

This year we were able to go to Strawberry days! It was fantastic!

We got to go to the rodeo. This was the kids first time going. We went on "free kids night". It was packed...to say the least, but still fun :)  (Don't let the pictures fool you. By the time the actual rodeo started we had people jammed around us, kneeing us in the back. We didn't dare/know how to get out until the very end of the night...)

 We also went to the parade, which was super fun too! 

We ate donuts the size of our head, and got to hang out with cousins! 

The night before this (Friday) we had Grammy Pugh's carnival. I didn't get any pictures because I was running around like a chicken with it's head cut off, but I do remember

 A bizzillion people showed up

Auntie Cathi surprised Grammy and came for the day of the carnival

lots of sticky hands and faces from cotton candy

We had 11 games

more food than one carnival should have ;)

Cousin Sleepover

One weekend we decided to have a cousin sleep over. It was a blast! We played outside, and watched "the movie where a guy turns into a deer" (Emperors New Groove. (Quote by Fox)) outside on a projector, then slept upstairs in the play room. All except Mags who stayed in bed for about 2 seconds until he heard his mom and dad come to pick up Zoe, then he decided to go home and sleep in his own bed. :)

It was fun to have all of the Clark cousins in one place! Even Penelope was there, but she was staying warm inside :)

The week after Tony left...

Went for a walk on the new canal road...it was weird...and paved...and hot.

Got my hair done

Found a mysterious man taped by my bed. Thanks Sierra ;)...Sorry, Tony (hehehe)

Met new baby, Penelope (born June 4). We love her.

Had Liam's birthday bash...including a new bike! (It was fun to get home... :))

Pretended to be dragons at Brad and Ashley's house

Couldn't get enough of ridiculously adorable and chunky Zoe.

Killed everyone at cards (Kira, Mom(Grammy), Ashley, Brad, Eddie, Wendy)

And bottled super, delicious jam. 1/3 of which didn't set up right so it made super, delicious syrup. Seriously sooooo good.
