Sledding

Contrary to popular belief (or my belief) Iowa does have some hills...small hills, but some hills. So this year we bought some sleds and headed out to one such hill (at a golf course. It's probably man made ;)). It was a blast! The sleds we got were awesome (and cheap since we bought them late in the season), and went super fast. The kids loved it! We haven't been sledding since Utah, and my kids don't remember ever going, so it was like a whole new experience.  

You've go to love Emma's hair in this last picture :) hehehe! I remember having hair like that after an afternoon of sledding, snow and sweaty hats. We are suppose to be getting more snow tonight, and while most people are dreading it, we are kind of hoping for a good amount so we can use our sleds again! And then we are hoping that it melts fast and turns magically into spring, with 70 degree weather....:)
