Best Buy Ever!!

Alright, I had to put these on...they make me laugh real hard. For Easter (a while ago I know) Tony bought the kids these awesome goggles from the dollar store. I kind of looked at him like "what where you thinking?" But to my surprise the kids loved them!! And they where highly entertaining for me and Tony to see the kids wear too. They looked so goofy!! I think it was the best dollar we have ever spent. :)

Liam coming out of the water. His goggles kept filling up with water but he didn't care. He would empty them out and then go under again. :)
Emma with alien/bug eyes. I couldn't stop laughing :D
Hooray for goggles!!

Hiking to the falls

For Family home evening this week we decided to hike up to battle creek falls. The kids and I had never been up there before but it was well worth it. Liam only complained a few times about his legs hurting and Emma got a free ride on her Dad's shoulders most the way up.

Tony took both kids right over next to the falls. He came back soaked but the kids where mostly okay.

The kids' favorite part was throwing rocks, bugs, and plants into the river. Liam and his dad found a red and white spider walking across the path and decided that the spider would enjoy a good swim, so they got the spider on a plant and threw it into the river. Liam was real excited. He's a boy. :)

I need help

Alright, I need some help. My dear little boy Liam (pictured here, isn't he darling :)  ) is having his fourth birthday in about a month. I need birthday party ideas. I am drawing complete blanks. He likes most anything little boys like:
dinosaurs
guns
lions
dogs
dirt
bugs
curious george
and most recently, buffalo (don't ask me)

We have had all sorts of fun birthday parties in the past. We've gone to the zoo, Chuck E. Cheese, BBQ, ect. He loved doing all of that.  Now I need something new. I'm sure he would love anything, but of course I want to do something fun for him. Emma's birthday is less than a month after his so we could do a combined party for both of them, but I don't know...any suggestions?

First Snow 2008

Hey guys,
I'm a little behind on my blogging but I decided I would add some of these cute pictures. This is the first snow in Pleasant Grove in 2008. It happen in October. We woke up to snow and the kids were way excited! So at about 8:30-9:00 am we got dressed in all our snow clothes and went out to build a snowman. Liam loved it. He made sure the snowman had a good bum by adding snow balls, and later added a snow ball to it's head so that it had a horn.
Emma liked the snow but we don't have a snow suit for her so we had her so bundled up that she could hardly move. Yep, she was just like Ralphie's little brother in "A Christmas Story." She would fall over and was like a turtle on it's back, so she would just cry and cry until we picked her up and then was happy again. It was awesome. The snow only last until about 2:00pm, then it all melted (except for the pile that was our sad snowman) so we were way excited we got to play in it!!

Hello!

Welcome to my blog spot! I've never done this before so I hope this all works out! I'm trying to add pictures of my family that we've had taken this last summer. The man who took them was great and so nice, he even gave us a cd. Of course, what I didn't know was that the cd was of unedited pictures, so some of the pictures are a little off center or have goofy things on them, but use your imagination and you'll see the beautiful pictures that are hanging on my wall (or if you're imagination handicap then just come over and see them:) )

Oh, it worked! ah-ha! That's me (cute) on the left. My hunky husband on the right and my two beautiful kids, Liam and Emma. I think this picture kid of makes me look chunky, I'm really much more cute than that :)

Liam is three. He is my warrior. He has an uncanny ability to make anything in to a gun, sword, or some type of weapon. (Seriously, yesterday our coat hanger was a bow and arrow) The problem is that everything turns violent. Even if he is being Superman or Batman or Spiderman, he wants to be a bad Superman, Batman or Spiderman. Our new rule is if he's a "bad guy" he goes on time out. Liam can be a sweetheart though, he always watches out for and protects his little sister, even if its against his mom. He loves tigers, lions, tractors, swords, Tom and Jerry, digging and playing out doors.

Emma is fourteen months. She's my calm child. She is happy with most everything (except she's always starving). She is kind of in her own little world. Sometimes she reminds me of Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter. She's pleasant and happy and la-di-da-ish. I love it!!! She loves everything and everybody. She waves a complete strangers like they are her best friend. While Liam and his cousin are screaming at each other she sits quietly and sucks her thumb, it's awesome. She has recently discovered the joys of baby dolls. She carries them everywhere.

Okay well that's all for right now. Thanks for reading!!
